Planning for the Sidney Fine Art Show 2013 is underway!

The show committee is very excited to be working on preparations for the 11th year of this amazing show. Key dates are noted below.

The Call to Artists entry form is now available here.

It is never too soon to become involved in the show. Each year tasks undertaken by hundreds of volunteers involve art intake, adjudication, hanging and presenting the show. If you are interested in joining the team please complete the sign-up form under the volunteer tab, or e-mail sfasvolunteers@shaw.ca for more information.

Key dates for this year’s show are:

Entries:
April 12th – Call to Artists available
July 19th – 3:00 PM Deadline for Entries (or when 1,250 entries received, whichever comes first)
August 2nd – Art ID forms mailed to entered artists

Adjudication:
September 8th – Drop off of work for adjudication
September 11th – Pick up of work from adjudication
September 16th – Notification of adjudication results

Show:
October 15th: 9:00 – 2:00 Drop off for Show
October 17th: Opening Night
October 18th: 9:00 – 9:00 Show
October 19th: 9:00 – 9:00 Show
October 20th: 9:00 – 5:00 Show (Doors close at 4:30)

October 20th: 5:00 Purchasers pick-up
October 20th: 5:30 -7:30 Artists pick-up
